Me too 😊

Main reason: our structures are large rotation steel works, antennae, telescopes. If you know what you do (nodal coordinate systems, element coordinate systems must rotate too) then all works fine. But mechanical does not allow to combine rst-files from two rotated models.

The APDL command I know is “INISTATE” which can be used to impose initial
strains, stresses, etc… However, it doesn’t work with all element types.
Maybe something you need to check.
