Folks,

Is anyone in this group really good at Python scripting in Mechanical, and willing to help me from time to time?  It's a skillset that I have wanted to develop, but haven't found a mentor yet.  I'm not looking for someone to do it for me, but rather to act as a guide for questions that I have, while I develop my own scripts.

Hi Matt,

I would suggest going for a course on Ansys learning Hub to gain some basic understanding. Then you can easily seek help from AnsysGPT which is a great starting point, then there is a developer forum in ansys which you can access through you ansys customer account.

when they were a major UK consulting company, writing F.E. Software.
