SpaceClaim scripting

Hello all,

For those with experience in SpaceClaim scripting, could someone enlighten me on the functionality of SelectionPoint.Create method? It asks for a selection and a parameter (float), and stores both as a selection and a parameterized point within the selection, however I'm having trouble understanding the functionality of the parameter. What I thought initially was that, considering a curve, it would select a point such that said point would be length*parameter away from the starting point of the curve. However from what I've been testing this doesn't always holds true. I'm having a lot of trouble with one of my scripts due to this, because it works under certain conditions, and on others it fails. Is my understanding of this parameter use correct? For circles I'm almost sure the parameter input is used as radians.

The scripting help within SCDM folder didn't help much. It explains what it needs as input but doesn't explain how the parameter is used.

I deeply appreciate any input on this matter.

Atenciosamente,
Best regards,
