Update of the Model component failed

Hi, I am working on ANSYS Workbench and as I attempt to update the geometry
cell of a project file named Project A, I get the following error message:

    Error 1: (DP 0) The shared license is not available to perform

this operation

Note that I do not have any other ANSYS projects running and this is the
only ANSYS application open on my machine. I also do not have any other
users currently using my ANSYS user license.

This message is followed by the one included below:

    Error 2: (DP 0) Update of the Model component in Project A failed:

Unable to attach to geometry file F:\Project A\ModelAssembly.SLDASM. Unable
to attach geometry.

I appreciate any help you could provide in resolving the above noted errors.

If you are receiving too many emails from XANSYS please consider changing account settings to Digest mode which will send a single email per day.

Please send administrative requests such as deletion from XANSYS to xansys-mod@tynecomp.co.uk and not to the list

By any chance, did a previous use of the geometry software end abnormally? If so, the ANSYS license server may take a long time to release that license.
