Yeah, maybe 19.2 classic isn't the newest version, but its what we are using. I've seen two demonstrations of using the .solc during a run to change the convergence tolerance, the program receives the commands, echoes them back, but doesn't change anything. I have done his many a time in v 15.

Hi Dan,
It's been years since I've run that version, but I'm pretty sure I used the
.solc command for that purpose back then. They always say it's an
undocumented feature and use at your own risk, so who knows?

Got the answer from a Principal Engrg here.
The .solc doesn't seem to work with the first substep. Other inputs say then is odd behavior on later substeps. This is ansys 17.2-19.5.
