Right-click on the cell, or the system or an empty space in the project schematic.  Choose Clear Generated Data.

Different places have different effects.  I'm doing this from memory, so you'd have to RTFM to verify.

If you do this to the Results cell, it keeps the solver output (e.g. .RST, etc.), but clears the WB-specific result items.  Re-solve is not required.  Use Evaluate to get update the WB-specific results from the solved model.

If you do this to the Solution or Setup cell, it keeps the mesh but deletes solver output.  Re-solve is required.

If you do this to the analysis system, it clears the mesh and results for only the analysis system selected.  If you have other analysis systems in the project, it won't affect them. Exception: systems that share the model, geometry and engineering data.

If you do this to the empty space in the project schematic, it does it for all analysis systems in the project.

When I'm finished using Ansys, I'll Clear Generated Data from the Project, then archive it.  It makes a very small file.
