This is an ANSYS Classic question.

I vaguely remember there being some command that would enable a user to submit a command to a running ANSYS job midstream.  I'm not talking about stopping and restarting, but altering a running job somehow,  midstream.  .  Does this ring a bell with anyone?

This is an ANSYS Classic question.

I vaguely remember there being some command that would enable a user to submit a command to a running ANSYS job midstream.  I'm not talking about stopping and restarting, but altering a running job somehow,  midstream.  .  Does this ring a bell with anyone?

Last time is used the jobname.solc, it could have some strange results. Usually command specific.  Some commands work well while others do not.

I seem to recall issues with changing the force convergence, for example.

I am not on the board much these days, but glad to see this is still being used. More importantly it seems everyone still has their sense of humor  : -)

More importantly it seems everyone still has their sense of humor : -) Keith Gallagher GE Aerospace -----Original Message----- From: Robert Dillworth <Robert.Dillworth@socotec.us> Sent: Wednesday, January 18, 2023 11:35 AM To: XANSYS Mailing List Home <xansys-temp@list.xansys.org> Subject: EXT: [Xansys] Re: [External] - old ansys command--I can't remember!
